I miss Jacob. That's pretty much all I have to say today. Jacob is at his dad's house spending time with him and his Gamma and Peepaw. I think I have said it before, but he is a lucky little boy. His grandparents are always involved in his life. They visit every 2 weeks, and they are his second biggest fans.
I miss Jacob. His laugh, his hugs, his kisses. I want to listen to his sweet voice read me a story. I wish we could turn on the radio and dance like gypsies in the middle of our living room. I want to make homemade chocolate chip cookies and fight over the beater that has the most dough on it.
I miss Jacob. I wish we could color some pictures and draw outside the lines. I want to watch him catch a grasshopper and figure out a name for it as though it is the most important decision he will make in his life. I want to help him with his homework, and show him how proud I am when he tells me what 9+9 equals without counting on his fingers.
I miss Jacob. It's' only been 2 days. I think I'll go shopping.
